Brian suggested that I get a Canon "Nifty Fify" lens. Actually, by virtue of the fact that he owns one, I was positive that I needed one as well. In our parallel search to create amazing photography, he had done the research and tested the usefulness of it. I suggested that it might make a nice Mother's Day gift. I wasn't sure why I needed it, but I was certain that eventually I'd figure that out. Tom asked "What does it do?". Well...what does any lense do? It allows you to believe you are taking better pictures.
Luckily, last Sunday was perfect for hiking...well almost perfect. Hard to believe that we needed scarves and gloves for warmth in May, but it was perfect for our version of an LL Bean catalog outing.
